On our holiday in America, at the Jazzy Cats Kool Cat show, in Lodi California we finally met up with our good friend Kathy Hunter and husband George from SierraGold Bengals. After the show, we stayed with them at their residence where we met their wonderful cats and saw their great cattery. The trip wasn’t all about Cats We did lots of site seeing, we saw places like Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the Giant redwood forest only found in California.
We would like to thank George and Kathy Hunter for a wonderful time and their genuine hospitality. We look forward to having them come and visit us, here in Australia at our home and meet our wonderful cats and tour our cattery. We can’t wait to return there hospitality and show them our wonderful Australian country side, and maybe get in a show or two.
We would also like to mention that in breeding this amazing cat, it’s nice to meet other breeder with the same goals who are not afraid of the hard work that is involved with breeding. We have made some wonderful friendships, which makes breeding the Bengal all the more worthwhile.
On our holiday in America, at the Jazzy Cats Kool Cat show in Lodi California on April 5th and 6th 2008, a Camera crew from CW31 Good Day Sacromento did a live Interview of Melina (myself) and Tequila, which is our rosseted brown Bengal male stud. The interview aired live and served to encourage the public to come and view the wonderful cat show on Sunday.
The footing stage of our cattery was been completed on the 20th of march, the construction on the main facilty begins and should be partialy completed when we return from the states, we can't wait.
